Nuitée - LiteAPI Migration

Google Cloud and Nuitée, supported by WALT Labs, engaged on a mission in 2024 to partner together as Nuitée strives to revolutionize the once-siloed and restricted travel industry. WALT Labs is a Google Cloud Premier Partner renowned for their expertise in cloud migration and modernization, delivering Nuitée’s migration of liteAPI into GCP and providing continuous support to ensure application resiliency.

Nuitée, a leading travel and super app-focused API provider, embarked on its move to GCP, driven by the need for enhanced scalability to accommodate rapid growth within liteAPI. Google Cloud boasts a connected customer pool of strategic and visionary technology leaders. Google is an AI/ML industry leader, and both companies are dedicated to customer satisfaction, connectivity, and growth. Nuitée sought a partner with deep GCP expertise and a proven track record to guide them through this complex transition and provide ongoing support for their cloud environment.

WALT Labs and Nuitée implemented Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of GCP resources, ensuring consistency and scalability. To migrate Nuitée’s data to Cloud SQL, WALT Labs leveraged Google Cloud's Database Migration Service (DMS), minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity. WALT Labs are experts in reselling, integrating and supporting GCP customers on their ongoing cloud journey.

Nuitée gained improved scalability and reliability and enhanced security for its data and applications. This is proven by LiteAPI’s ability to scale at pace and support traffic from once 100s of events to now 1000s a second. The use of IaC increased their agility for faster development, and the strong partnership with WALT Labs fostered ongoing support and improvement of their cloud environment. Nuitée is also expanding its AI usage on Google Cloud to provide more robust customer solutions.
