Role in Project
Earthling Interactive designs, builds and supports websites and web-based applications. Working with the client, WALT Labs converted Earthling's hosting instances from a complicated Rancher environment to a pure Kubernetes environment within AWS.
The Challenge
Earthling Interactive was running their client applications on a complicated Rancher-based hosting environment that had become difficult to manage, scale, and troubleshoot. They needed to modernize their infrastructure while maintaining uptime for existing applications.
WALT Solution
We migrated their entire hosting infrastructure from Rancher to a pure Kubernetes environment on AWS, implementing Helm for package management and establishing best practices for container orchestration. Additionally, we provide ongoing 24/7 managed services support.
Key Outcomes
- Successfully migrated from Rancher to pure Kubernetes on AWS
- Implemented Helm for standardized package management
- Established 24/7 managed services and support
- Improved deployment reliability and speed
- Simplified infrastructure management and scaling
The Result
Modernized Kubernetes infrastructure with 24/7 support
